PROMASEAL®-PL

PROMASEAL®-PL is an intumescent fire protection laminate based on graphite, which creates high pressure on expansion due to the effect of temperature. PROMASEAL®-PL is characterized in particular by an early start temperature of approx. 150 °C. It forms a stable, compact char that seals gaps or openings quickly. This ensures a secure seal against the spread of smoke and fire of the overall construction.

Applications:

PROMASEAL®-PL is an intumescent seal for timber doors, glazings, panels, inspection doors, facades and building joints in walls and floors.

Benefits:

  • Resistant to atmospheric effects (light, heat,-frost, UV radiation, humidity)
  • Free from organic solvents
  • Overpainting is possible with standard paints (e.g. acrylic, chlorinated rubber, 2 component epoxyresin paints, silicones, etc. – preliminary tests concerning adhesion and compatibility required)
